The greatest distance runners from across the world will return to the capital for the Olympics in early August to take on a slightly different course.

And the trip, funded by UK Athletics, will see her return to Britain two days before the London Marathon, when she must run sub-two hours, 30 minutes to make the Olympics squad.
It took until September to clear, but the seven-month lay-off appeared to have had little impact as Ross-Cope made a winning return in the Sutton 10k near Chester.
Ross-Cope has taken on the London Marathon once before, in 2009, when she completed the 26 miles in a personal best time of 2:36.02.

She will be one of more than 35,000 entrants in this years race, which will take place on Sunday, April 22, when she will be hoping to finish in and around the top 50.
But the City of Stoke AC runner, who turns 40 on January 31, is back in full swing for 2012 and determined not to let the chance to run at a home Olympics slip through her fingers.
Ultimately, she missed out completely after developing Achilles tendon bursitis – inflammation between the tendon and the heel bone.
Ross-Cope said: The hardest part is leaving the mily behind, but this is my last chance to make the Olympics.
It was very frustrating last year, said the England international. We think my calf could have been too tight, and that in turn causes problems for the ankle and heel.
